These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the KeepTab mobile application (“KeepTab”).

By downloading, accessing, or using KeepTab, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use KeepTab.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use KeepTab.

If applicable law requires you to be older to independently agree to these Terms, you may use KeepTab only with the authorization of a parent or legal guardian as required by applicable law.

2. What KeepTab Is

KeepTab is a personal tracking app. It lets you count down to things such as returns, warranties, renewals, subscriptions, birthdays and deadlines, and count up from the day something started, and it can remind you about them at times you choose.

KeepTab runs on your device. It has no accounts and no servers of ours: what you add is stored on your device, and we do not hold a copy of it.

Features may change, be added, removed, or limited over time. We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available on every device, operating system, region, or application version.

3. Important Reminder Disclaimer

KeepTab is intended to help you organize and remember information. It should not be treated as your sole method of remembering critical obligations.

Notifications, countdowns, reminders and calculations may fail, be delayed, or become unavailable. Phones delay, batch and silence notifications, a device that is switched off delivers nothing, and behaviour can be affected by device settings, operating-system restrictions, permissions, battery optimization, software errors, or information entered incorrectly.

Dates such as return windows, warranty lengths and renewal dates come from you, not from any shop or provider. Their own terms always decide what you actually get.

You remain responsible for independently keeping track of important deadlines and obligations. Do not rely solely on KeepTab for critical medical, legal, financial, safety-related, emergency, regulatory, tax, immigration, travel, contractual, or other time-sensitive obligations where missing a deadline could cause significant harm or loss.

4. Accounts

KeepTab does not currently offer user accounts, and no account is needed to use any part of it.

If optional account functionality is introduced in a future version, additional terms applicable to accounts — including your responsibility for accurate information, for protecting your credentials, and for activity occurring through your account — will apply and will be reflected here.

5. Your Content

You may create and store information within KeepTab, including dates, names, descriptions, notes, categories, milestones, reminder settings and pictures you select (“User Content”).

You retain ownership of your User Content. Because KeepTab stores it on your device and does not transmit it to us, we acquire no rights to it and have no access to it.

You are responsible for ensuring that your User Content and your use of KeepTab comply with applicable law and do not violate the rights of others.

6. Local Storage and Backups

KeepTab stores your information on your device. There is no cloud synchronization and no backup held by us, so we cannot restore your information if it is lost.

KeepTab can export your information as a JSON or CSV file so that you can keep your own backup. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of information that is important to you.

Information can be lost if you delete it, erase the app’s data, clear its storage, uninstall KeepTab, or lose or reset your device. We cannot guarantee that locally stored information will never be lost, corrupted, or unavailable.

7. Notifications

KeepTab provides reminders through local notifications scheduled on your device.

Delivery is not guaranteed. Notifications can be affected by device settings, operating-system restrictions, permissions, power-management settings, or the device being switched off.

You remain responsible for independently tracking important dates and deadlines.

8. Device Permissions

Some features ask your device for permission before they can work: notifications for reminders, and your photo library when you pick a picture for a card. The current version does not use the microphone.

You may decline or withdraw any of these permissions in your device settings. Doing so disables only the related feature; the rest of KeepTab continues to work.

If adding a Tab by speaking is introduced in a future version, speech recognition would be performed by your device’s own operating-system speech service, which is subject to that provider’s terms.

9. Advertising

KeepTab contains no advertising. If advertising were ever introduced in a future version, these Terms and the Privacy Policy would be updated to describe it first.

10. Paid Features and Subscriptions

KeepTab is currently free, and no payment functionality is active in the application. Any interface referring to premium or upcoming plans is informational only and does not charge you.

We may introduce optional premium features, purchases, or subscriptions in the future. If paid functionality is introduced, applicable pricing, billing period, renewal terms, and cancellation rules will be presented before purchase, and purchases made through an application store or payment provider will also be governed by that provider’s terms.

11. AI-Powered Features

KeepTab does not currently include artificial-intelligence features that send your information to an external AI service.

If such features are introduced, AI-generated information may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated, should not be treated as professional legal, medical, financial, tax, or other professional advice, and you would be responsible for reviewing it before relying on it.

12. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use KeepTab for unlawful purposes
• interfere with or disrupt the application or the device functionality it relies on
• introduce malicious software or harmful code
• reverse engineer, decompile, modify or create derivative works from KeepTab except where applicable law expressly permits it
• redistribute, resell, or sublicense KeepTab
• use KeepTab to violate intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
• attempt to circumvent security, access, or usage restrictions

13. Third-Party Services

KeepTab does not rely on third-party services for authentication, hosting, synchronization, analytics, crash reporting, advertising, payments, or artificial intelligence.

Your use of KeepTab may still involve your device’s operating-system services (such as the share sheet) and the application store you installed KeepTab from. Those are subject to their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for services outside our reasonable control.

14. Intellectual Property

Except for User Content and third-party materials, KeepTab, including its software, design, branding, graphics, interfaces, and original content, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of KeepTab or its intellectual property to you.

You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use KeepTab in accordance with these Terms.

15. Availability and Changes

We may modify, update, suspend, discontinue, or restrict all or part of KeepTab where reasonably necessary.

We may release updates required for security, compatibility, functionality, or other purposes.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

16. Termination

You may stop using KeepTab at any time by uninstalling it. Since there is no account, nothing further is required to end your use.

Your right to use KeepTab under these Terms ends if you materially violate them.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination may continue to apply.

17. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, KeepTab is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranty of any kind.

We do not guarantee that KeepTab will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, or suitable for every purpose.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses resulting from your use of or inability to use KeepTab.

This may include loss resulting from missed reminders, missed deadlines, data loss, notification failures, service interruptions, or reliance on information shown by the application.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

19. Privacy

Your use of KeepTab is also governed by the KeepTab Privacy Policy.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as KeepTab evolves.

When changes are made, the “Last updated” date will be revised.

If changes are material, we may provide additional notice within the application where appropriate. Your continued use of KeepTab after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.

21. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights or other rights that apply based on your location.
